even when times are good
i still find myself in a foul mood
is reality being misunderstood
love your enemies more than yourself
but what if my enemy is in the self
help me, O Lord, help me help myself
i do not wish to entertain doubt
i was told that positivity is what success is all about
i need thy saving grace to win this bout
It's All About My Book
It's all about my book
It's all about me
I ain't got no time for nobody
Try as I may
Try as I might
Prioritize, commands the guiding light
I have to follow
I have to obey
Lead me Lord, I pray
It's all about me
I ain't got no time for nobody
Try as I may
Try as I might
Prioritize, commands the guiding light
I have to follow
I have to obey
Lead me Lord, I pray
Money Honey
Mo money mo problems so they say
Those with less money can't afford to pay
Money rules and it is here to stay
I must have more money
I pray that the Lord will bless me
I deserve wealth and prosperity
The currencies of power electrify
Trustworthy and true friends I identify
I am awed by your blessings and I glorify
Those with less money can't afford to pay
Money rules and it is here to stay
I must have more money
I pray that the Lord will bless me
I deserve wealth and prosperity
The currencies of power electrify
Trustworthy and true friends I identify
I am awed by your blessings and I glorify
F***ed Up World
There are times when things don't make sense
There are times when things don't go your way
We wonder why and we demand an answer
Deep down we know that things are not what they should be
Some say it's part of life
A life of certainty would be boring and dull
A little uncertainty keep us on our toes
And makes us hope that the answers we are looking for will come
A thousand and one burning questions
Lost in the mystery of this thing called living
Finding comfort in prayer
Seeking refuge in the hand of the man who stills the water
And as the raging sea calms
I am bouyed by faith and I find my feet on the surface
Smiling at this not so f***ed up world
Grateful for every breath that energizes my spirit
There are times when things don't go your way
We wonder why and we demand an answer
Deep down we know that things are not what they should be
Some say it's part of life
A life of certainty would be boring and dull
A little uncertainty keep us on our toes

I Love to Daydream
Tuesday, 11 November 2008
O Great Lights and Divine Spirits,
Today I understand why ever since I was a child, I have loved daydreaming. It's because (day)dreaming is a way for us to remember our higher calling. Yes, I know this statement has a lot of presuppositions and implications. But I simply surrender to it.
And now here I am, at a point which I will remember for the rest of my life. I'm at a crossroads and I have asked for guidance that I may choose the right path for me. I proclaim my chosen path to the world and I hope that the universal forces may lead me to my divine success.
I would like to share with you four target dates:
1) July 28, 2009 - finish my masterpiece
2) November 30, 2009 - book launching
3) Easter 2010 - victory and thanksgiving party
4) June 30, 2010 - homecoming
I would like to make a career move. I hope to become a bestselling author. I pray that my story may touch the hearts and minds of my countrymen. I hope they rave about my book and recommend it to everyone they know. There are so many things I would like to share with the public. I beg the universe, the same universe that continuously fills my spirit with knowledge, wisdom and power, I beg this universe to give me a chance to express myself in the public arena.
I would like to come back home, back in the arms of my beloved Motherland. Lead me, O Lord. As always, Thy Will Be Done.
Hallelujah. Amen.

To My Heart’s Discontent
Saturday, November 8, 2008
O Great Lights and Divine Spirits,
Today, I try to deal with my heart and soul’s ongoing dissatisfaction with my life. By others’ standards, I am a successful person. I have real estate investments, I have a loving, beautiful and intelligent girlfriend, my career is at its best, and generally speaking, I am at my personal best. And yet, something tells me there’s so much more. I seek to understand where this nagging voice comes from. A voice that affects my overall happiness. It’s like, everything I do or achieve is never enough.
The question has to be asked, “Is this unending yearning for more, healthy for me?” It certainly is necessary for someone who wants to live life to the fullest. And if I didn’t have it, I would’ve stayed in the comfort zones I have enjoyed in the past. So I guess I have to give some credit to this voice. For its incessant calling has led me to greener pastures.
I hope and pray that this voice takes all its orders from the Great Lights and Divine Spirits of this Universe. Om!
Hallelujah. Amen.

Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM Philippines)
Sunday, November 2, 2008
O Great Spirits and Divine Lights,
Today I declare my unwavering and everlasting love for my motherland.
I am in a so-called first world country today. Spending time in a modern place always moves me to dream of a better Philippines. But I have to tread carefully because it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that everything's in a poor state in my home country. Let me make it clear that no matter what happens, the Philippines is my country of choice.
This reminds me of the PBA Ginebra days when the living legend would rally the barangay to victory. No kabarangay would dare think of rooting for another team.
And just like the great civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr, I too have a dream. I dream of seeing more leaders who will take good care of our country. People who are gifted. People who will serve the best interests of Team Philippines. And I dream of a citizenry who will see the light in the minds of their leaders. And the people will begin to put their faith and support in the government. This is what Team Philippines is all about. Together everyone achieves more!
Hallelujah. Amen.
